Grand Master - Iran.
Parham Maghsoodloo was born in the year 2000 in Gonbad-e Kavus.
He played in the 2015 Chess World Cup, where he was defeated in the first round by Wesley So, and represented his nation in the XLII Chess Olympiad in 2016.

He was awarded the title of Grand Master by FIDE in 2016, the same year he received the title of International Master.

He won the Iranian Chess Championship in 2017. He won the World Junior Chess Championship in 2018 with a very strong game, finishing with a score of 9½ / 11, one point ahead of his closest competitors. His performance rating was 2823 ELO points, a result at the level of the ranking of the world champion Carlsen.

At this moment he defends the first board of his country, Iran, in the Chess Olympiad of Batumi, in Georgia, maintaining a good score against world-class players.
